Called to Create Tee

The Call to Create.

Some of us felt it early.

The urge to draw from our imagination. To build something out of scraps and discarded nails in the garage. To take things apart just to see how they worked. (I still owe Mom a toaster.) To write stories no one asked for and no one ever read. To take your first picture that didn’t just capture the moment, but made you feel the intensity of it.

It didn’t feel spiritual. It just felt like you.

But it wasn’t random.

In the beginning, God created.

Before sin. Before the fall. Before the curse. The first thing we learn about God is that He makes things. And the things He made were good. He forms. He speaks. He designs. He brought order out of nothing.

And then He made us in His image.

That tug to build. To draw. To capture. To carve. It traces back to Him.

We create because we were made by a Creator.

Being called to create is a constant reminder of our origin. A recognition that the instinct to create points back to the One who did it first.

You felt the itch because He put it there.

What a beautiful reminder of the Great Creator.
